In October 2002 a group of people got together in London to think about how self advocates can stay in control of Person Centred Planning.

One idea was a website that people could share their stories and get good information from people with learning disabilities themselves.

Tricia Nicoll asked a group from the North East to do this work we had some planning days then worked with a media company to set up the website.
